Just recently, I've received a few comments on some of my posts. Thank you readers! For reminding me that I haven't been updating much about my life!

Many things happened since I last posted. In fact, I am no longer working in the same department as I used to since a year and half ago! But there are some things in my life that would be best left alone and not mentioned in the world of blogging. It's kinda sensitive to certain parties involved although I don't really mind people knowing stuffs about it (not too much).

It's coming to the end of 2011. I definitely have to post something!

As you know nowadays almost everything can be done online, especially online shopping... I have come across this site called The Japanese Shop. I am a major fan of Japanese culture and stuffs (opposite of my husband). Guess what this website did to me?

I spent GBP 40 (That's like RM200 here, that's gonna hurt my pocket...) on that site buying cute stuffs for my hubby, friends and myself!

Nevertheless, I don't regret one bit when I received the items today. It's as illustrated and described. In fact, it's so cute and nice, which makes me going to shop in that site again in future. *giggles*

Let me show you some of the items I bought for myself. I can't unwrap the others cause I have requested them to wrap it for my hubby and friends.

I bought 3 of these, in which this one is the infamous Japanese lucky cat and a tiger, while the other 2 are paired with horse and boar.

I bought 2 of these, which the other one is gold in colour and resembles good wealth while this one resembles good health!

Aren't they cute?

Anyway I wanted to say... MLTR was in town. Every time I recalled the last concert before the recent one, I'll always remember how much I enjoyed their songs with Lowie & Aki. Honestly, we're not really really close friends that I share what colour my underwear is today but i'd say we are good friends since RO days. And I'm glad that with MLTR, it made us share a single point of interest! Too bad this time around, I didn't go to the concert with them since MLTR is performing in a few states other than in KL.

I hope this will not be the last concert I ever had a chance to attend.

Anyway, the concert of MLTR on last Friday marked the beginning of my long holiday due to Good Friday, Easter and Anzac Day in Australia & New Zealand. Ain't it great to work for ANZ region? *smiles brightly* But that also means no OT for THREE freaking days! Nevertheless, I have taken this opportunity to spend time with A and C. Well, that includes K too lol.

It was great to see C again since she came back from Taiwan. She got a lot of stuffs for A (as requested! Or should I say demand? *laughs*). She got me a long T-shirt, which... I'm wearing right now cause I didn't have extra clothes after I showered at A's place just now. C, if you're reading, I like this T-shirt better than the green or grey ones. A insisted I should take the green or grey one. You should give one to him, maybe? =P

C, I think I am getting old. I get backache and sore feet by just walking for hours in QB with A. But I think that's normal, right? Consider my shopping partner is A. *laughs*

In a blink of eyes, tomorrow is my last day of break... that's kinda sad. I wonder if I will ever have this kind of opportunity again before my Taiwan trip in November.

Action... Cut!

"Life is a drama."

Well, that's an understatement.

8 months into my job & Dell. How's work? Hell, a lot of drama! Somewhere along the lines of "I also thought we were friends", "Stop trying to lead", and "You're being bossy" popped up. Oh there's a lot more. In between those lines, I had to questioned the people around and myself "What happened?". Up until now, I still have no idea. One thing is for sure, shit happens. One day you wake up, your friend decides that you're overtaking the team and your co-worker(s) think that you've changed! Oh, really? Someone out there please tell me what happened.

Oh! I know! Re-organization.

But no one tells me re-organization also re-organize your friendships with people (in Dell). I've had re-organization in my previous job and there were problems but not this one. The one that tears friendship apart overnight cause you have shit-ass friend who wouldn't tell you she's not happy but dropped you shit-ass hints and expects you to know she's unhappy.

Come on, grow up. What do you think this is? A relationship? You dropped hints and expect your "boyfriend" (which is me) to know? Get a life. Oh wait, I meant do it with your other half, not me. I got to give my "friend" credits though, for being a two-timing bitch. Guess what? Don't you know copying our conversation to someone else, and copying yours and his to me to save your own sorry ass makes you a selfish bitch? Guess you didn't. Cause all you thought of is saving your ass, not friends, but people you used to your own advantages. I feel sorry for the "someone else". I'm not going to confront him. I'm not going to play your silly games. As much as you deserve pity and concern due to your circumstances, you don't deserve anything more than an applause from the crowd while you're at the standing ovation. You should, like Rihanna's song, "Take a bow".

Oh btw, morning! It's Monday. Time to see you again.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://jyswit.blogspot.com/2011/03/action-cut.html' title='Action... I decided to drive around the area near my house. Somewhere near the hill, there was a 5-storey bungalow that I had laid my eyes on months ago. Someone has to be filthy rich to own the place. When I first stumbled upon it, it was under construction. When I visited today, just a while ago, it was occupied. I took a snap shot before and showed my fiance before. Unfortunately, we don't share the same taste for house architecture. He dislikes it. I don't know why. Maybe it's not just the design, maybe it's the idea that the house is for the rich only. But for me, I love the house. I love that architecture. The rooms were probably pre-planned to build the house that way on a small land. Yes, small land but 5-storey tall.

Admiring what others have is not a great feeling but it's sort of like a motivation that maybe someday I would like to have a house like that (almost a house like that). Reality is I know I wouldn't be able to afford it even then. At least not a 5-storey building bungalow.

Envious.

Australia

It's been a week since I came back from Australia. It was a great trip. There was no culture shock for me as I was pretty much an open minded person. Maybe except seeing crocodile meat being sold in a market? If so, I would be more culture shock when I go to China when they sell all kinds of meat. *winced*

I was in Melbourne and Perth for half day. In Sydney for a full four days and Port Stephens for two days. When I reached Melbourne, the weather was nice. There was sunshine and cool breeze. I like such a weather, one that you cannot get in Malaysia! I have to say the pace of life in Melbourne is slower as compared to Sydney. But of course it can't beat Hong Kong and Japan.

While I enjoyed trying to spot dolphins in Port Stephens, it wasn't really a place I'd go back for a second time. In fact, I think I prefer spending time in the beach in Fremantle, Perth! Oh, you wouldn't believe that I love Perth by just spending half day there. Before arriving, I would have thought it being a boring city due to its geographically flat land. I was proven wrong when I had my best friend, Lynne, to take me around. We didn't exactly go to the city but we did go to North Bridge to have brunch and dinner. I spend my whole afternoon in Fremantle and it was the best day I've had since I was in Australia. I'd love to visit San Churro again for the strawberries with chocolate sauce!

How I still missed them till this day?

The question is how can I not?

By the way, the photos have been uploaded to my facebook. I'm not much a photographer. So don't expect to see some exotic or good photos since I'm just using Sony T900. I actually mistook it as the Strait Kitchen. :x So can you imagine when we reach the supposedly "Soul Kitchen" along Light Street, off Green Hall Road, I saw a restaurant called Rendevouz. I was like "Whaaa?". Then I remembered that I did read that Soul Kitchen was at Muntri Street so I switched on my GPS and we got there. Funny, it was just opposite my best friend's old house. Silly me. And no, I didn't know my best friend's old house is at Muntri Street. I just somehow know how to drive there...

Ok, stop laughing at my stupidity already by mixing up Light Street & Muntri Street. =(

I should have taken a picture of how the cafe looked from the outside. I'll remember next time. I'll be visiting again for my birthday. *smiles like an idiot*

It's a small cafe with a nice and cozy ambience. It doesn't look like Italian or French or German. It's just Retro. But it serves basically Italian food. Oh my favourite besides Japanese. *grins*

I like how the way they kept things simple and creative by creating a clipped reserved note instead of buying one standard one where you can see from most restaurants.

Off with the interior, let's hit it to the food. I LOVE the food. Well, of course I do since I am an Italian lover. I meant food lover, not the Italian guy lover. The food presentation is simple and looks delicious. Sometimes we have eaten and seen so many fancy and extraordinary presentations of food in our lives, somehow we just want something simple. Simple best describes Soul Kitchen. Food for thought. Food for your soul. Love the sound of it, don't you?

OKAY, I'm rambling too much right now.

We ordered...

Tuna Sandwich a.k.a. "It was a smart choice to make reservation."

And you know reservation was whose idea. *looks elsewhere innocently*

Oh by the way, I forgot. However due to labour shortage, their service is a bit slow. Let's hope they have more manpower soon to pick up their business.

My favourite drink is Iced Mixed Fruit Cocktail. Trust me, you'll love it if you like fruity drinks. I bet I'm not among the few. Many customers of Winter Warmers love their Iced Mixed Fruit Cocktail as well. The price has slightly increased from RM9.90 to RM10.90 if I am not wrong. Pricing was increased way before the QB outlet was launched. The menu was revamped!

I'll post a few photos for entertainment but I would recommend you to drop by for a tea time or chit chat with your friends. The ladies will be fond of this place as compared to the gentlemen. =)

The main entrance

The interior

I do not recommend this drink. The variety of food is limited as well. I believe I can get better options in Salsa @ Hotel Continental, Upper Penang Rd for its price. We waited for a while as there was a number of crowds. In return, I suggested lunch and nail panting. That's how C came into the picture. It's been a while since I last went swimming. Can you imagine I had one gym bag, one duffel bag, one handbag, one paper bag, and one plastic bag when I arrived his place <s>excluding the lunch I packed</s>? I had to wait for C to arrive to help me get to his condo.

A's comment "Did you just moved half of your belongings here?" Well, something like that.

So what's for lunch? C's homemade bak zhang! And of course I packed wan tan mee, hokkien mee, and herbal duck soup.

C and me went swimming at THREE in the afternoon when the sun is high and shining brightly. Oh yea, it's hot. The floor is practically a hot pan. The pool was not occupied and it also seems it wasn't utilized pretty often as you can practically taste and smell the clorin. I probably swallowed a few ml. Nonetheless, it's a FREE pool so I am not going to complain so much. I had a great time swimming and talking to C anyway.

Our next agenda, nail painting. I don't particularly fancy painting nails on my own but since I have C to paint my nails. It's a priviledge not to pass. Come on, how many of your colleagues end up painting your nails and doing nail art for you? I only have ONE.

While waiting for my nails to dry, C and me were watching a TV show in which they tried to prove that majority ladies looked prettier in long hair. When it came to contestant number 4, I didn't notice much until C asked me "Do you realized that girl looks like AChew?" Then I burst out laughing like mad. Even A heard through two closed doors. I had C take some photos to show it to the rest later.

It was evening so soon and we had to go to the restaurant. I put on my first 3' high heels. C said I walked like crap. Well... it's 3' for a reason. Nothing much happened during A's birthday dinner besides makan-ing and gossip-ing. Oh, and showing off AChew Look-A-Like photos. What's more interesting is A couldn't cut his own cake. According to him, it's frozen. Funny, I had it nicely cut myself.

When dinner was over, we're supposed to go home... A, C and me ended up packing rojak back to his place for supper snacking. I might grow into a buffalo soon.

I had to say it was a day full of wonderful memories spent at A's. We should do it again some time <s>without the birthday dinner</s>.

Morning coffee at 2.30AM

People say you become lifeless when you start working. I had to partially agree with that since a quarter of my day is spent working and a quarter of my day is spent on sleeping. Unfortunately, I've wasted my 8 hours sleep staying awake. Not that I want to. I just couldn't succumb to REM. I want so sleep. But I can't. And I don't know why.

Since I won't be getting enough sleep, I just had to do what I usually do to stay awake. A cup of coffee, to start the day! I should be happy about one thing. I don't need to drive later as I have assigned myself a driver of the week. Ok, maybe let's not be so mean. I have asked a colleague to be my carpool. *smiles brightly*

So let's get to the point where I partially agreed that working life is lifeless. Well, it's not really that lifeless if you have plans. Not just normal plans, i.e. hanging out with boyfriend/girlfriend or friends or family. Give yourself a task, i.e. plan for an overseas trip. Since we're working now, we should be able to afford some savings and some life exploration out of wherever we are right now.

That makes me realized in a span of less than a year since I started working (Aug '09), I have traveled twice to overseas.

Dec '09 - Vietnam

Apr '10 - Sri Lanka

Now it's hard to believe that I <s>finally</s> am planning to go to Australia. <s>Where did that idea even come from?</s> I had no idea. Good thing is I am going out to explore the world. Bad thing is it's going to burn a big big hole in my bank account and pile up debts I owed my parents since they're partially paying in advance for my flight ticket?

Oh well, working life IS lifeless if you don't do anything about it. I choose to make mine worthwhile even if it makes me poor and grumpy after the holiday cause I have to work. *smiles stupidly at myself*

The 3-Bored-Ppl came to Penang

Oh it's been a while my friends from KL came down to PG all together. Andrea is a name belongs to many people. To me, Andrea is a girl I've known since I first met my cousins. She's the youngest daughter stuck in between an elder sister (Lilian) and a younger brother (Melvin) in her family.

Apparently, our different personalities and interests made us distance compared to her other siblings. We're friendly with each other but we just don't have the right things to talk about. Nevertheless, I'm happy for her that she found the love of her life. Someone she wished to spend the rest of her life with for eternity.

Last Saturday evening, I attended her wedding reception and dinner. I didn't take any photos during the reception. However, I managed to get a few snapshots <s>on the sourrounding instead</s> during the dinner but missing shots of the bridegroom and bride. Worry not, I'll post up one as soon as possible when I get hold of one of the loving couple photos.

Jennifer, my sister with me.

I've come to noticed that we both have our own given names that start with the alphabet "J".

Joey & Jennifer.

Mine sounds more boyish though. :P

I wrote on a wish card, which they hang it on a man-made wishing tree.

I wrote "Wish the both of you 'Happily Ever After'!"

Motorola ROKR E8

I was planning to get a new phone and I am STILL planning to get a new phone. Now to put my plan into action, my first step is to get CASH (which I obviously don't have). I have been pestering my father to get me a Nokia 5610 Xpress Music two months ago. He said he would get me one from Vietnam when his business is doing good. So far? No news.

Two nights ago, I was browsing for Motorola phones. Honestly, I have been a loyal user of Motorola since 5 and a half years ago. And for me to request for a Nokia phone... that's because Motorola wasn't producing phones like L7 the one I'm using now. They were busy producing flip-up and slip-up phones! Well personally, I don't like those types of phone. HOWEVER, *jeng jeng jeng jeng...* Motorola came out with a ROKR E8!

Look at it, baybeh! Stylish & Sexy (to me, at least!).

Motorola utilized the ModeShift technology and produced this fucking hot thing. Look at the picture above, it shifts from one mode to another when you change your phone functions. OMG, I can't wait to get my hands on this phone. *prays for my father's business to go well* <-- fastest solution to get the phone!

Here's the second solution:

So, for my beloved ROKR E8, I landed myself a job in a small Japanese restaurant in Pulau Tikus. *hehe*

Oh! I almost forgot. You'd be wondering why. Don't worry, you know I'd tell you anyway. I am a lady with a big heart and a "big mouth". *grins*

So, my idle status was (first and foremost) because I went to Langkawi for my holiday trip <s>actually I got myself a new boyfriend</s> (but that's after I came back from Langkawi!). And yes, I was busy dating as well after I came back from my trip. *winks*

I shut down Letters of November because I thought it was kinda crappy. I don't like the contents there but I was too lazy <s>rather I couldn't bear</s> to do a wipe out. So here I am, creating a new blog to humor you people.

I'll TRY to be active for this one.
