Australia

It's been a week since I came back from Australia. It was a great trip. There was no culture shock for me as I was pretty much an open minded person. Maybe except seeing crocodile meat being sold in a market? If so, I would be more culture shock when I go to China when they sell all kinds of meat. *winced*

I was in Melbourne and Perth for half day. In Sydney for a full four days and Port Stephens for two days. When I reached Melbourne, the weather was nice. There was sunshine and cool breeze. I like such a weather, one that you cannot get in Malaysia! I have to say the pace of life in Melbourne is slower as compared to Sydney. But of course it can't beat Hong Kong and Japan.

While I enjoyed trying to spot dolphins in Port Stephens, it wasn't really a place I'd go back for a second time. In fact, I think I prefer spending time in the beach in Fremantle, Perth! Oh, you wouldn't believe that I love Perth by just spending half day there. Before arriving, I would have thought it being a boring city due to its geographically flat land. I was proven wrong when I had my best friend, Lynne, to take me around. We didn't exactly go to the city but we did go to North Bridge to have brunch and dinner. I spend my whole afternoon in Fremantle and it was the best day I've had since I was in Australia. I'd love to visit San Churro again for the strawberries with chocolate sauce!

How I still missed them till this day?

The question is how can I not?

By the way, the photos have been uploaded to my facebook. I'm not much a photographer. So don't expect to see some exotic or good photos since I'm just using Sony T900. Hopefully, it will be different when I get my D90! =D

  1. Nice work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the blue Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
