Soul Kitchen for Italian Lovers

This is a place that I actually found out from my cousin's facebook. I actually mistook it as the Strait Kitchen. :x So can you imagine when we reach the supposedly "Soul Kitchen" along Light Street, off Green Hall Road, I saw a restaurant called Rendevouz. I was like "Whaaa?". Then I remembered that I did read that Soul Kitchen was at Muntri Street so I switched on my GPS and we got there. Funny, it was just opposite my best friend's old house. Silly me. And no, I didn't know my best friend's old house is at Muntri Street. I just somehow know how to drive there...

Ok, stop laughing at my stupidity already by mixing up Light Street & Muntri Street. =(

I should have taken a picture of how the cafe looked from the outside. I'll remember next time. I'll be visiting again for my birthday. *smiles like an idiot*

It's a small cafe with a nice and cozy ambience. It doesn't look like Italian or French or German. It's just Retro. But it serves basically Italian food. Oh my favourite besides Japanese. *grins*

I like how the way they kept things simple and creative by creating a clipped reserved note instead of buying one standard one where you can see from most restaurants.

Off with the interior, let's hit it to the food. I LOVE the food. Well, of course I do since I am an Italian lover. I meant food lover, not the Italian guy lover. The food presentation is simple and looks delicious. Sometimes we have eaten and seen so many fancy and extraordinary presentations of food in our lives, somehow we just want something simple. Simple best describes Soul Kitchen. Food for thought. Food for your soul. Love the sound of it, don't you?

OKAY, I'm rambling too much right now.

We ordered...

Tuna Sandwich a.k.a. Tramezzini

Melon Chicken Salad

Turkey Ham Pizza

Tiramisu

Banana Orange Smoothie

Cafe Latte

I was greedy for Fruit Salad as well hehe but I wasn't allowed to order it *pouts*

I'll come back for more, indefinitely.

By the way, today is my engagement day. Lovely dinner and a ring to my finger. The night can't get any better. Geez, it rhymes.

I love you, sayang. ;)

I would still like to quote the lady boss. "It was a smart choice to make reservation."

And you know reservation was whose idea. *looks elsewhere innocently*

Oh by the way, I forgot. Here's a map:
