Winter Warmers @ QB

If you're a fan of British afternoon tea, you will notice that Winter Warmers has launched its new outlet at Queensbay Mall.

Location: Ground floor, South Zone.

Landmark: Next to Voir, opp. Subway or TGIF.

The size of the restaurant is bigger than the one in Gurney Plaza, which is a good improvement. However due to labour shortage, their service is a bit slow. Let's hope they have more manpower soon to pick up their business.

My favourite drink is Iced Mixed Fruit Cocktail. Trust me, you'll love it if you like fruity drinks. I bet I'm not among the few. Many customers of Winter Warmers love their Iced Mixed Fruit Cocktail as well. The price has slightly increased from RM9.90 to RM10.90 if I am not wrong. Pricing was increased way before the QB outlet was launched. The menu was revamped!

I'll post a few photos for entertainment but I would recommend you to drop by for a tea time or chit chat with your friends. The ladies will be fond of this place as compared to the gentlemen. =)

I do not recommend this drink. I forgot its name but it starts with grandpa tea or something.

Ice Cream Waffle you should try.

Potato wedges are good. They know how to fry it nice and crispy.

Food to recommend:
  • Mango Chicken Rice (Personally, I like it but K doesn't.)
  • Ice Cream Waffle (I think their waffles are better of as dessert than main dish. I don't really like their Smoked Chicken Waffle)
  • Potato Wedges
Drinks to recommend:
  • Iced Mixed Fruit Cocktail
  • Iced Orange Tea
  • Iced Lime-Mint Tea

2 idea(s):

  1. since you're talking about Winter Warmers and wedges.. i used to like their Iced Lavender Tea, which is the same range as the Mixed Fruit Tea i believe. but they have gotten rid of it when they changed the menu. wasnt a pleasant surprise when i found out. as for the wedges..you should really try Dome's. way way nicer. :)

  2. Hey, I don't know who you are but thanks for the recommendation. I'll try it the next time I visit Dome. It's not very often I drop by that place because it's expensive for an Alfresco. But that really depends what kind of ambience you want. For me, I prefer a place with reasonable price tag and varieties of choices especially afternoon teas. And I think WW is one of those I'm looking for. Oh but if you really miss Toffee Nut Latte, then yes I would recommend Dome. Do note of the sweetness and strong taste of the coffee though. :)
