Sunday was his birthday in which he offered me his well, not entirely his pool. In return, I suggested lunch and nail panting. That's how C came into the picture. It's been a while since I last went swimming. Can you imagine I had one gym bag, one duffel bag, one handbag, one paper bag, and one plastic bag when I arrived his place excluding the lunch I packed? I had to wait for C to arrive to help me get to his condo.
A's comment "Did you just moved half of your belongings here?" Well, something like that.
So what's for lunch? C's homemade bak zhang! And of course I packed wan tan mee, hokkien mee, and herbal duck soup.
C and me went swimming at THREE in the afternoon when the sun is high and shining brightly. Oh yea, it's hot. The floor is practically a hot pan. The pool was not occupied and it also seems it wasn't utilized pretty often as you can practically taste and smell the clorin. I probably swallowed a few ml. Nonetheless, it's a FREE pool so I am not going to complain so much. I had a great time swimming and talking to C anyway.
Our next agenda, nail painting. I don't particularly fancy painting nails on my own but since I have C to paint my nails. It's a priviledge not to pass.
Come on, how many of your colleagues end up painting your nails and doing nail art for you? I only have ONE.
While waiting for my nails to dry, C and me were watching a TV show in which they tried to prove that majority ladies looked prettier in long hair. When it came to contestant number 4, I didn't notice much until C asked me "Do you realized that girl looks like AChew?" Then I burst out laughing like mad. Even A heard through two closed doors. I had C take some photos to show it to the rest later.
It was evening so soon and we had to go to the restaurant. I put on my first 3' high heels. C said I walked like crap. Well... it's 3' for a reason. Nothing much happened during A's birthday dinner besides makan-ing and gossip-ing. Oh, and showing off AChew Look-A-Like photos. What's more interesting is A couldn't cut his own cake. According to him, it's frozen. Funny, I had it nicely cut myself. ![]()
When dinner was over, we're supposed to go home... A, C and me ended up packing rojak back to his place for supper snacking.
I might grow into a buffalo soon.
I had to say it was a day full of wonderful memories spent at A's. We should do it again some time without the birthday dinner.
