Annabelle's Place @ Permai 32

Location: After the Tg. Tokong's winding road, turn left on the first LEFT junction. Go straight up and you will see a row of shop lots on your right.

I craved for Annabelle's food. So I decided to take my family there last Sunday but my mom didn't want to go.

Thick Onion soup

The cream after stirred makes the soup more creamy which I would have preferred it without cream. But I love Annabelle's onion soup. I've never tasted better in anywhere else. Even Mizi's can't outbeat hers.

Ocean Treasures

I've been serving this dish for like a month and this is the first time I've tasted it. It always smelled good but the taste was better especially with the crabmeat inside it. It has a creamy texture that melts in your mouth.

Seafood Spicy Olio Pasta

I tried my sis' dish and I definitely love this pasta dish. You know sambal? But without the belacan taste. You can actually eat the flavour of chilli because it is so strong the moment the spaghetti is in your mouth.

Windsor Tea for one

I've seen many people order this afternoon tea set and usually for two but we were too full to actually take in more than one portion. There are one strawberry shortcake, biscottis (should be two pieces, I ate one already), fruits, one scone with cottage cheese (I love it, I know it's fattening) and strawberry jam, and three pieces of sandwiches in which my sis and I each took one.

I forgot to take photo of my bro's Lasagne Verde. It's beef so I didn't taste it.

Note: The pricing is not cheap but the food is 100% worth it.

Harvest In with L

Last Friday, a bunch of our classmates went for a dinner with our infamous and beloved lecturer, L (name not to be disclosed). I was the so-called organizer and I had arranged a reservation at Harvest In Cafe. At first, I was told that I would be given a BAR for a reservation of... what? ELEVEN people?! That's absurd. So I told them to move it to a more convenient place if available. To ensure that the outing was not ruin, I actually reserved a place in another restaurant as well which I stood up (and I felt guilty about it too). Thankfully, when I arrived I was given quite a decent place, at least not the BAR.

L was LATE. But that's okay. His name started with L anyway. *laughs* We were already yapping non-stop so when L came the yapping was even prolonged, indefinitely. Sadly, I won't be exposing anybody's photos here since I have not gotten their permission especially L's since he's more DISCREET (only to the public). I couldn't care much about the yapping since I was HUNGRY so I decided to order for myself and some of my friends. One which is busy disturbing my "son" about her laptop. Another who is my "son" who is trying his/her best to help the poor young lady.

So let's skip some details. Eventually the soup came with the side orders L ordered. What's bizzare about this outing was GETTING TO KNOW L BETTER. While all of us were eating soup, L suddenly asked my "son" who sat beside him to look at him. Guess what he did? He showed his talent. I was not paying attention since they were both one seat away from me (the one next to me was our poor young lady). But as soon as I heard "YER ***! Lu mai aneh geli la!". Then I turned my head towards them to see what's going on. Eventually, he showed his talent again and I am BAFFLED. What were he doing!? Dropping saliva 2-inch long from his lips before sucking it back. OMG!! I can't get to know L better than this!

After that, I tried not to look at my soup while drinking it. Nevertheless, virgin boy was trying his best to gross me out, which failed miserably. The dinner went on as usual with us trying to catch up on each other's life since we graduated and have not met some of us for quite some time. All in all, it was a great outing. I would love to have more of it, well if L stops showing his talent, LOL.

The food we ordered:

Hawaiian Chicken

Bombay Chicken

Asian Mix Chicken

Grilled Almond Fish
